Brachetto d’Acqui
TECHNICAL PROFILE
Vinifacation: the grapes, de-stemmed and crushed, undergo a 5-days cold maceration (10° C), aimed at extracting the color and particularly the typical aromas of the Brachetto grape. The grapes are then pressed and a static clarification of the must is carried out, followed by fermentation in tanks (Charmat Method) at low temperature. Ageing: it has to be drunk young to fully appreciate its freshness. Few days after the bottoling the wine is ready to be consumed, thanks to special adopted techniques.

TASTING NOTES
Brachetto d’Aqui Millesimato has a not over-intense bright ruby-red color sparkling wine, with light purple highlights. Nicely compact foam and a fine and persistent perlage. Its full, extraordinary aroma is reminiscent of the fragrance of the original grape. It has a full, musky nose of wild fruit and strawberries, and a delicate, lingering periage. An easy-drinking wine, it shows an extraordinary balance between sweetness and acidity. At the end it presents a persistent aftertaste and a retro-olfaction hint of cherry jam.

PAIRINGS
Like all Fontanafredda's sweet sparkling wines, it is delightful to drink at any time of day and in every season. Excellent with desserts
