TECHNICAL PROFILE
Vinification: the fermentation is traditional style, with a maceration of 7-8 days at a temperature of 23-25° C.
Ageing: after refining (4-5 months in stainless steel), the wine is bottled in the spring following the harvest. Further
ageing in the bottle improves its balance and harmony
TASTING NOTES
The result is a lightly-coloured ruby - almost cherry – red wine, with garnet highlights which become more marked
after a certain period of ageing. It has a spicy, herby nose, which is clean-cut and elegant with traces of cherries and
strawberries. Its dry taste is slightly tannic, but fresh and pleasantly almondy, weII-balanced and harmonius.
PAIRINGS
Excellent served with hot starters, pasta, vegetables and not overly-elaborate meat dishes, it is also a fine everyday
table wine
